Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and SolutionHunt, the operator of solutionhunt.in. By browsing, creating an account, submitting a listing or posting content, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SolutionHunt.

Who can use SolutionHunt

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use SolutionHunt on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it, and “you” includes that company.

Your account

Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person may hold one account; do not share, sell or transfer it.

Listings and submissions

• Submit only products, services or tools that you offer or are authorised to represent, and describe them accurately, including pricing and availability.
• Upload only logos, screenshots and other material you own or have permission to use.
• Keep private contact details in the private fields. They are shared only with our review team.
• Every submission and every change to a published listing is reviewed. We may publish it, ask for changes or decline it, and we may edit formatting for consistency.
• Publishing a listing does not make you its company’s verified owner. Ownership requires a separate claim that an administrator verifies.

Community rules

To keep SolutionHunt useful and trustworthy, you must not:

• Manipulate votes, including through multiple accounts, automated tools, paid or traded votes, or vote rings.
• Post spam, misleading claims, fake reviews or content unrelated to the listing.
• Impersonate any person or company, or misrepresent your connection with them.
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Publish other people’s personal information without their permission.
• Scrape, copy or harvest data from SolutionHunt in bulk, or interfere with the service, its security or other users’ access.
• Upload malware or attempt to bypass suspensions, limits or access controls.

Content you share and our licence

You keep ownership of the content you submit, including listing details, images and comments. You grant SolutionHunt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format and distribute that content to operate, improve and promote the directory. The licence lasts while the content is on SolutionHunt and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups and records.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this licence and that your content does not breach these terms or any law.

Moderation and enforcement

We may review, hide, edit or remove content, reverse votes, decline submissions, revoke verified ownership or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put users or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you what action we took and why.

Reporting content and grievances

Use Report on a comment, or the contact page for anything else, to tell us about content that breaks these terms or infringes your rights, including copyright or trademark. Include the page, the content concerned and why it should be removed. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Third-party providers

Listings link to websites and services run by their providers. Their pricing, contracts, support, security and privacy practices are their own responsibility. Any agreement you make with a provider is between you and that provider. A listing, vote or comment is not an endorsement or recommendation by SolutionHunt.

Our service and fees

SolutionHunt is currently free to browse, join and list on. We may add, change or remove features, or introduce paid options in future. We will tell you before any fee applies to you, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.

The SolutionHunt name, logo, design and software belong to SolutionHunt and may not be used without our permission.

Disclaimers

SolutionHunt is provided “as is” and “as available”. Listings and community content come from providers and members. We review submissions but do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete or current, or that a product or service is lawful, secure or suitable for your purpose. Check details directly with the provider before you rely on them. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SolutionHunt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any provider’s products or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to SolutionHunt is limited to INR 5,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to compensate SolutionHunt for reasonable losses and costs arising from content you submit or from your breach of these terms.

Ending your use

You may stop using SolutionHunt and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service. The sections on content licences for retained records, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue after your account ends.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

Changes and general terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will give notice of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use SolutionHunt after that means you accept the updated terms.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and SolutionHunt about the service.
